Ethical Tech strives to advance technological innovation by embedding humanistic principles, ensuring the ethical development and deployment of digital and AI technologies.

In our digital age, the rapid deployment of digital and AI technologies within companies fosters innovation and efficiency. However, these advancements also heighten the risks of privacy violations, unfair societal representation (e.g., through biased predictive modeling), and intransparent and non-verifiable decision-making.

EDMI (Ethical Decision Making Intelligence) prepares companies through education & awareness to deploy these technologies ethically and responsibly; fostering innovation and safeguarding Digital & AI systems.

EDMI is a Swiss-based initiative that brings together industry, academia, and entrepreneurship. Supported by

  • Innosuisse and the University of Zurich, our research focuses on understanding the specific needs of Pharma and Life Sciences companies.

  • The ZHAW Institute of Computational Life Sciences provides the educational foundation for the program.

As we continue to develop EDMI, we are actively seeking collaborations with select companies to deploy EDMI alongside advanced AI solutions.
