ETHICAL DECISION MAKING INTELLIGENCE (EDMI)

INNOSUISSE FUNDED STUDY

EDMI (Ethical Decision Making Intelligence) prepares companies through education & awareness to deploy these technologies ethically and responsibly; fostering innovation and safeguarding Digital & AI systems. EDMI is a Swiss-based initiative that brings together industry, academia, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on the Healthcare industry.

Innosuisse through Innocheque funding supported the research project for MQ Learning, which was done in collaboration with the University of Zurich.

- Methodology -

The research was conducted over a period of 6 months and was divided into three phase

Phase 1: Hypothesis setting - Our key hypotheses included
- There is a strong case for AI adoption in Healthcare industry across the value chain
- AI ethics could be seen as an enabler of prudent AI adoption
- Education & awareness would play a role in the proactive mitigation of risks while deploying AI technologies
Phase 2: Interviews Validation - We conducted interviews with 10 healthcare companies from the Pharma, Hospitals, and Healthtech sectors.

As we continue to develop EDMI, we are actively seeking collaborations with select pharmaceutical companies to deploy EDMI alongside advanced AI solutions.
