C.S. Lewis said, "You can't go back and change the beginnings, but can start where you are and change the ending."

In turbulent times, the emerging complexities can overwhelm us. What we need is resilience from the inside to navigate such times. The word Resilience has Latin roots with re (to back) and salire (to jump), where we recoil back again and again with a new consciousness and see the world with new eyes.

The Resilience Book leverages eco-philosopher Joanna Macy's spiral that reconnects and regenerates active hope in the midst of uncertainty. The workbook is divided into three sections:

  • Section A - Tapping-in: You tap into the difficult moments of your past and remind yourself of actions and awareness which provided you strength in such moments.
  • Section B - Cultivating Resilience: You go through 3 steps of Joanna Macy's "Spiral that reconnects" - Gratitude, honoring your pain, and seeing with new eyes.
  • Section C - Going forth: You identify activities that help you to hold on to resilience in turbulent times.
