While work today may be very different for different people, on a macro level supposedly 50% of jobs are “bullshit jobs” and pretty much all jobs contribute to environmental or social harm. Income tax dependent governments from left to right do not question the importance of employment and those working to improve things mostly fail due to the seemingly inherent resistance to change in human centred organisations.

Why is this the case and why do we even work? What would work look like in a culture that doesn’t have a scarcity mindset but rather the goal to develop consciousness? What change is needed and what inner biases stop us from realising them? And why is awareness so important to change anything?

After establishing some common ground about awareness-based systems change, we will expand our awareness through deep listening based on a simple tool from Theory U. With this we will inspire each other for potential next steps in our work related challenges.

Tobias and Theo present this format out of their own enthusiasm. However, their personal convictions do not matter for the idea of a culture of consciousness.

Katalin from Collaboratio Helvetica has been on a wild path spanning from being a highly individualistic, super-driven artist towards becoming a practitioner of collective and participatory processes rooted in awareness-based systems change methodologies.
