Volkshaus, Green Room, Stauffacherstrasse 60, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland

"Know Thyself," the inscription at the temple of Delphi, reminds us of the centrality of Self-awareness for personal transformation. Changing the world starts with Self, which involves being continuously aware of our being and the environment around us.

In this workshop, we will deep dive into a Self-Awareness journey to find new treasures leveraging Western psychology and Eastern philosophy insights. You will learn to:

  • Uncover your unconscious Self through Active Imagination designed by Carl Jung. Carl Jung, a renowned Swiss psychologist, changed his field by extending the concept of Self with collective unconsiousness.
  • Reflect on the role of Self in connection with nature using ancient Yoga philosophy. Yoga is much more than a set of exercises known in the West; it is an entire philosophy to identify our role in the world.
  • Develop activities for continuously connect with our Self and emotions as we navigate the space-time of the world. Self-Awareness is not a one time process but a constant journey of connection with ourselves every moment to make the right decisions.

This workshop is conducted in English and is led jointly by Dr. Christopher MIller (Assistant Professor Yoga Studies at LMU, California) and Deepak Bansal (Founder - Meaning Quotient). Limited seats to 16 participants to facilitate better participation. Reserve early!

Dr. Christopher Miller previously served as Clinical Professor of Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University, where he now serves as the Bhagwan Mallinath Assistant Professor of Jainism and Yoga Studies. His current research focuses upon the ways in which yoga practices are translated into contemporary transnational yoga communities. He completed his Ph.D. in Religious Studies at the University of California, Davis.

Deepak aims to bring humanistic elements to our working life. He stands at the intersection of Business (MBA HSG Switzerland), Technology (MTech India), and Humanities (MA Philosophy California, Coach - CPCC, ACC). With 15 years in the corporate world, he has held Executive positions (COO, Director) in Consulting and Multinationals. He has also led Learning & Development for a strategic consulting unit.

“Who are we? A big question. This workshop offered a combination of Eastern and Western philosophies combined with guided meditation and sharing. It produces a kind of magic which I have not seen before that allows you to discover parts of your unconscious and take a deeper look into who you are. A big thanks to the trainers for an inspiring event!" - Stefan B., Entrepreneur, Ex-CXO Hero Group

"Self awareness workshop like many other MQ-learning workshops, had a nice take away, it was an intro to the fears in our unconcuoise mind and how they drive us in life. It motivated me to dig deeper in this topics and figure out how to remove the barriers created from my fears on my path” - Elham Khatibi

"Credit to MQ Learning for so effortlessly creating an environment where we all felt comfortable to put work, organisation, and status to one side and share our humanity with each other. I left the day feeling energized and inspired. Highly Recommended!" - Steven S., Portfolio Manager, Zurich Insurance
