Welcome to our philosophical salon, "Being in Flow". In this session, we'll immerse ourselves in the exploration of 'flow', a state of deep absorption characterized by enhanced performance and deepened self-consciousness, a concept widely recognized by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. 

We will compare this with ideas from Eastern traditions, especially Taoism, that perceive similar states as aligned with the universe's natural rhythm. Our discussions will illuminate the intersections between Western psychological constructs and Eastern philosophical principles, unveiling the profound wisdom encapsulated in both traditions. 

Through our collective exploration, we seek not only to understand 'flow', but to learn how to embody it, facilitating a richer, more fulfilled existence within our everyday lives. Our aim is to stimulate rich discussions that marry these perspectives, helping participants cultivate their unique understanding of 'flow' and its impact on their life.

PRESENTER:

Deepak is a passionate explorer of the question "what it means to be human", and harnessing his values of joy and wisdom, he aspires to blend logic, relations, and values, for a more integral personal and professional world.

He stands at the intersection of Technology (MTech - India), Business (MBA, HSG Switzerland), and Humanity (MA, Philosophy, California; coach CPCC, ACC). With 15+ years in the corporate world, he has held Executive positions (COO, Director) in Consulting and Multinationals like Accenture, Deutsche Post DHL, and Zurich Insurance Company.  He has also led Learning & Development for a strategic consulting unit.

He is the founder of MQ Learning, a Eduqua certified Swiss Educational institute, and he also teaches "Digital Ethcis" at ZHAW.
