The Bhagavad Gita, often called the Gita, forms a part of the epic Mahabharata and is presented as a dialogue between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna on the battlefield. Set against the backdrop of an impending war between cousins, Arjuna is torn by moral dilemma and despair at the thought of fighting and potentially killing his kin. In this crucial moment, Krishna imparts wisdom that transcends the immediacy of the battlefield, offering guidance on ethics, duty, and the path to fulfillment.
