The current school system is a reflection of the current state of consciousness in the world. Considering it was developed to create reliable and functioning employees for the industrial revolution all signs are indicating that it no longer suits humanity as it once did. To foster creativity and the intrinsic willingness and excitement to learn, new ways of learning are explored.

Iris Seewald will present the exploration which is happening at Waldchind Zürich. She is the founder and teacher of this private school, where the kids until 6th grade are spending a lot of time in the forest on projects and complementing this with more structured learning in a class room at ETH Hönggerberg.
