Details

The most common forms of living in the West are single-homes and patriarchal nucleus families. Global evidence shows that human needs are universal and revolve around connection, healthy food, natural movement, and purpose. All of these are not fostered or hindered by the current societal and economic structures.

Are you motivated, or are you looking for motivation to change your way of living? Are you looking for a home that fulfills your true needs and gives you meaning? Different offers of co-living/housing exist but are often not known or stigmatized by old ways of thinking.

We will find out together what are our common needs and present potential solutions from two different existing concepts.

Limited seats; reserve early! It is a space donation-based event, and we suggest a contribution of CHF 20-25.

WHY ATTEND:

In this Salon, you will:

  • Learn about living communities and their potential for solving the world's problems
  • Find out what  already exists, and how you could contribute
  • Make connections

HOSTS:

Theo Helfenstein lives in Karthago (a little-known community in Zurich City), where 50 people form a big household. He experienced various co-living concepts on different continents and advocates for new ways of living as potentially the most needed action to avoid societal and environmental collapse.

Gosia Czwarno has been involved in creating communities since 2014. She opened large co-working and co-living spaces in 3 countries, focusing now on Switzerland. She lived in 10 cities and 5 countries which gives her a broad perspective on how common living can impact your life positively.
